Το πρόγραμμα «Βιώσιμα Αγροσυστήματα για Ποιοτικά Μεσογειακά Τρόφιμα» είναι ένα Κοινό Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα που συνδιοργανώνεται από το Τμήμα Επιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας Τροφίμων του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου (Ελλάδα), το Τμήμα Γεωπονικών, Τροφίμων και Δασικών Επιστημών του Πανεπιστημίου του Παλέρμο (Ιταλία) και το Τμήμα Βιομηχανιών Τροφίμων του Πολυτεχνικού Ινστιτούτου του Βισέου (Πορτογαλία).
Το πρόγραμμα απονέμει Κοινό Μεταπτυχιακό Δίπλωμα (MSc) που αντιστοιχεί στο Επίπεδο 7 του Ευρωπαϊκού Πλαισίου Προσόντων.
Δομή Προγράμματος
Το πρόγραμμα εκτείνεται σε τέσσερα ακαδημαϊκά εξάμηνα και αντιστοιχεί σε 120 ECTS. Κάθε εξάμηνο έχει 30 ECTS. Τα πρώτα τρία εξάμηνα αποτελούνται από διδακτικά μαθήματα (διαλέξεις και εργαστήρια), ενώ το τέταρτο εξάμηνο είναι αφιερωμένο στην εκπόνηση μεταπτυχιακής εργασίας και στην πρακτική άσκηση.
Τουλάχιστον το 75% των πιστωτικών μονάδων (90 ECTS) πρέπει να συμπληρωθεί μέσω φυσικής παρακολούθησης. Κάθε εξάμηνο φιλοξενείται σε ένα από τα τρία συνεργαζόμενα ιδρύματα, πράγμα που σημαίνει ότι οι φοιτητές μετακινούνται μεταξύ χωρών κάθε εξάμηνο για τα πρώτα τρία εξάμηνα.

Language of Instruction
All courses, examinations, seminars, and the Master Thesis are conducted entirely in English.
Teaching Methods
The educational process of each course may include one or more of the following formats: lectures, seminars, laboratory and practical exercises, distance learning sessions, individual or group assignments, educational visits, and thesis preparation.
Attendance at all educational activities is compulsory. Students must attend at least 75% of each course's hours in order to be eligible for examination.
Assessment
Students are assessed through written or oral examinations held at the end of each semester, complemented by coursework, assignments, and laboratory performance as specified in each course syllabus. The Master Thesis is examined by a three-member committee in a public defence.
Academic Calendar
The academic calendar for each semester — including course schedules, examination periods, registration deadlines, and holidays — is published on the programme's website before the start of each semester.
Academic Advisor
Each student is assigned a personal Academic Advisor upon enrolment. The Advisor supports students throughout their studies, offering guidance on course selection, academic performance, thesis topic, career prospects, and any personal matters that may affect their studies.
